Arahura marae parts.

In our class we are learning about different parts of a marae because we are going to the  Arahura marae.So i labelled different parts of the marae.

Mine and Mary's company.

In our class we have been learning about companies.Some of us started our own companies so we made logo's for them this is mine and Mary's.So we are called Book worm's and because we are the librarians and get books for our class library shelf and there are two worms because there are two of us also there are books because library's have books.I think our logo is good  because i like that the pictures are simple.

Big Art Inquiry.

Our class is doing a art Inquiry and you have to choose a piece of art and then research about the artist and then choose what to do for an example choose a piece of art and then do a papermache bowl and then when you are finished paint the piece of art you chose in the middle of the bowl.  

Investigating sound.

In our first video we made a tune experimenting what sounds cups make when you tap them with pencils. We found out that if the glass is filled with less water the sound if more high pitched and if you full it up high the sound is low.


In our second video we were experimenting with the fork tuner and cup phones seeing if we can hear the sound.

Going for a walk with Mr Barnett and Henk

Today we went on Velenski walk with Mr Barnett and Henk from doc the apartment of conservation. We went for the walk because we needed more information for our project we are working on.What we are doing is writing facts about the wildlife and nature for a talking shed so tourist can see what sort of plants and wildlife is around Moana.I think that going for the walk helped because some people saw the trees they were learning about and learn't some new things about their tree.
